Alanna Fitzpatrick

Alanna moved to Australia in 2022 and joined BEC Dental in 2024. Alanna began her dental career as a dental nurse after earning her diploma from the Letterkenny Institute of Technology in 2015.   After completing her studies at University College Cork (Cork Dental School and Hospital), she graduated in 2019 with a dental hygiene qualification.  In 2019, Alanna travelled to Kathmandu, Nepal, where she volunteered to provide field dentistry services to disadvantaged people who had suffered following the tragic earthquake in 2015.

Alanna has a special interest in the treatment of periodontal (advanced gum) disease, with a focus on complex cases. Her dedication extends beyond clinical excellence, to also fostering comfort and confidence in patients, especially children and any patients with dental anxiety.

Outside of dentistry, Alanna enjoys playing camogie, a female sport in the Gaelic Games in Melbourne. She also finds joy in contributing to her community, serving as a public relations officer on two committees. Alanna likes spending time with family and exploring the city’s diverse offerings.
