Dr Joy Fowler graduated from Melbourne University in 1984 and has since been based mainly in Melbourne, including 20 years with her brother, Dr Scott Fowler, here at East Melbourne.
Dr Joy has almost 40 years’ experience in caring for the needs of everyone from young children to people in their tenth decade. She therefore understands the changing needs of her patients throughout the different phases of life and provides the appropriate dental care to conservatively optimise oral health, function, and aesthetics.
Dr Joy has a special passion for aesthetics and smile analysis, involving any of veneers, crowns, bridges, restoration of implants. She also has a keen interest in temporomandibular joint health and the dental management of obstructive sleep apnoea.
Her caring nature means that Dr Joy places a strong emphasis on her patient’s experience during dental treatment, kindly supporting them with genuine compassion.
Dr Joy’s other interests include bushwalking, camping, sharing time with her family and friends and going to see live music.
