Dr Shazia Naser-ud-Din has over 28 years of experience in Orthodontics, with qualifications from several prestigious national and international Universities including the University of Sydney with Distinction and Orthodontics from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. She completed the specialist exam from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh RCSEd. MOrth and worked as specialist in UAE and held a leadership role in the Orthodontic Department at the University of Queensland and is also involved at the University of Melbourne. She has been a Platinum Level Invisalign Provider since 2019.
Her passion is to enhance the quality of life, particularly for growing patients, where early intervention can minimise treatments and achieve more optimal outcomes. This has led her to actively provide Interceptive orthodontics with Invisalign First, functional corrections for habits/jaw growths, airways and to prevent the need for extractions in crowded mouths. However, she also finds fulfillment in helping adults get the smile they have always wanted.
Children love rotating their digital mouth scans during her fun interactive treatment planning sessions, which are focused on each child’s individual dental needs. A loving parent herself, she knows how to connect with kids and keep them engaged, earning the cooperation that makes for great treatment outcomes.
Shazia is multi-lingual, which adds to interesting discussion and connections. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also expresses her artistic talents on canvas and wood capturing, unique flora and fauna of Australia. Her mantra is: Smiles for enjoying healthy happy life starts early.
